Scary Scraps by J Wecker Frisch for Riley Blake Designs
The concept for Scary Scraps was inspired by a 1913 children's book which was generously gifted to artist J Wecker Frisch during a quilt retreat. Upon first sight of the treasured pages the two like-minded creatives, Janet and Sue Raspberry began sharing ideas. The antique illustrations conjured up for each of them a number of directions for a future fabric collection. Shelved until Janet could give the attention it deserved took a few years but once she set her focus on a fun Harvest/Halloween theme, the ideas would again fall into place at just the right time.
