The kit contains the pattern/instructions designed by Reed Johnson for Blue Bear Quilts along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately.
Printed fabrics in this kit are from the A Flutter of Leaves, Color Blends and Rapture collections by Quilting Treasures.
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
5-1/2 yards of fabric is recommended for the backing (includes 6″ overage) assuming a 44/45″ width along with a 66″ x 90″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.
A little over 7-1/4 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern.
